While days outside at the barn during the winter might seem impossible, they can actually be the most fun and rewarding because you know you’ve put in the effort while others may have just given up. Here are some tips to keep active, and warm, throughout the winter.
Stick With It
Start by setting mini-goals, and stick with your plan. If your activity levels drop
off significantly from the warmer months, counteract that with being more
diligent with your diet and doing what you can to fit in activity indoors when you
can: online workout videos, gym membership, office walk breaks, et cetera.
One basic tip is to make sure you’re getting at least 30 minutes of exercise
most days of the week. You can accomplish that with a workout class at the gym,
a workout video, or even going snowshoeing in the pastures for some fresh air.
